I really adore the gestural and characteristic sketches you have here.
I'm just a student, so I adore it when artists allow people to take a look at their sketches. It really helps budding artists as myself learn a thing or two from the masters.
From your experience at Pixar and working with them, what makes a successful gesture, sketch, character-ect?
How long should a person work on a sketch, a structure sketch? Do sketches have to look perfect, or just well enough to get the motion seen within a gesture drawing?
I've been having problems with my own work or I suppose, "Uncomfortable" with them.
Do you have any advice?
