BACK FROM THE CON

Well, it's all over. I am beat! The experience of having your own table is an exhausting one. I met so many cool people. My voice is gone. Thanks to everyone that braved the crowds and stopped by to pick up a book. I really had a blast with it.
Here's me at my table. I have no idea why I made that face...

I had two of the nicest guys next to me. Josh and Justin Parpan. We got a couple prints and a book for Spencer too! Check out their art. They really are two talented guys. I was proud to sit next to them.

Here's a sketch I did of the two of them drawing

The best thing about Comic Con is coming home and seeing everything you got. It's like HALLOWEEN!

I got away from the table on preview night to secure an original Bill Presing piece!

Plus an original Derek Thompson!

I loved this figure by Chris Sanders.

Like I said. I met a lot of people!

For those of you that didn't make it to the Con and are interested in picking up a copy of my book, don't fear! You can order one simply by clicking on the Paypal button to the left and I'll get you one lickety-split!

Hi! During the convention I got a sketch from you in my grass-themed sketch book, but I can't find your e-mail address to send you a scan! My website is paperninja.net, so maybe you can pick up the version I have posted there or you can send me an e-mail through my website's contact thingy. I'm not familiar with Blogger so maybe I'm just missing your contact info here...if so, sorry for the bother.

Hi Kelsey,
I don't know if you remember me, but I meet you at your table during the Comic Con(I'm sure you've meet a lot of your artists there). We had a little chat about the Animator's Union, and Northern Michigan University.
Thanks for all the helpful tips you gave. Your book is just amazing by the way!

Kelsey,

I had a ball at the Con and I wanted to thank you again for being the coolest neighbor ever. I'm completely in love with the sketch you did of me and brother Josh. Do you mind if I post it on my blog?

A fine pleasure meeting you at the con this year! It's always a blast when you're surrounded by such great people. Noir is great -I'm glad I had some dough left to nab one in person!

And wouldn'tchya know it - our book finally came in the day AFTER the con! I'll shoot ya an e-mail once we get things squared away if yer still interested.

I hope you're able to make it out again next year. The con is always completely inspiring and seeing familar faces makes it that much more cozy...even amonst geeks ;)

-bob.

PS - I worked on a Billy and Mandy game and Dracula was an in house favorite. I couldn't even watch the entire PBS clip... you were robbed.

Kelsey,

It was cool meeting you at the Con. It's comforting to find someone else out there that shares my disappointment with Transformers the Movie(It doesn't hurt that you can draw either).

Great work on the sketchbook too. Its a proud addition to my haul.

Nice job on the book man. I'm glad some of those drawings made it out from the vault.

And I'm jealous of your Derek Thompson original. I ran out of money...

It's a shame I only went to ComicCon on Sunday, we could have hung out a lot more. I like your work and look forward to seeing what's next.
