DARK CRYSTAL

I think it's safe to say that this series will never be made (sadly). Here's some of the work I did in developing it. I'll post more if people are interested. Also check out some other work in a previous post (click here)


This was one of my favorites. Who doesn't love Skeksis?

Hoooooly crap. The Dark Crystal is one of my favorite films, and Henson and Froud had a huge influence on me becoming an animator. (I used to do puppets before animating...) Anyhow, what were these designs for? A TV show? I heard that there was going to be a second film...is that still happening? I love the Skeksis drawing.

CN was planning on doing a series to go along with the sequel. And I believe the film's been canned, so you know what that means for the series :(

Aw how cool would some new dark crystal suff be!
Shame it's not happening.

Someone should drag together all the concept art for all the coolest shows that never were and put them in a book called "the greatest shows that never were"
